Fees & Funding
At VIP Kids Nursery, we provide high-quality, term-time only childcare and early education for children aged 2 to 5 years. Our setting is designed to support school readiness within a structured yet nurturing environment, offering a balance of funded and private childcare options to suit your family’s needs.

Our fees are structured to provide flexibility while maintaining high-quality care and staffing ratios.

Fees are available upon request or during your nursery visit, as packages may vary depending on sessions booked and funding eligibility.
Government Funding
We offer funded childcare places in line with UK government schemes.
15 Hours Free Childcare (Universal Offer)
All children aged 3 to 4 years are entitled to:
- 15 hours per week
- Up to 38 weeks per year (term-time)
30 Hours Free Childcare (Extended Offer)
Eligible working families may receive:
- Up to 30 hours per week
Eligibility is based on:
- Both parents working (or one in single-parent households)
- Minimum income thresholds
- Application via HMRC
You can check eligibility and apply through the government childcare service.
2-Year-Old Funding
Some families may qualify for funded places for 2-year-olds, depending on criteria such as:
- Low household income
- Receiving certain benefits
- Child development needs
We recommend checking eligibility through Spelthorne Borough Council or your local authority.
How Funding Works at VIP Kids Nursery
- Funding is applied to your booked sessions
- You can top-up additional hours beyond funded entitlement
- Funded hours can be taken:
- Term-time only (38 weeks), or
- Stretched across the year (if offered — optional depending on your model)
Additional Charges
Government funding covers childcare and education, but not extras. The following may incur additional costs:
- Meals (if provided)
- Extended hours beyond funding
- Optional trips or activities
We are fully transparent with all fees — no hidden charges.
Inclusive Support (SEND)
As a mainstream nursery with inclusive practice, we support children with additional needs within our setting.
Where required:
- We work with parents and professionals
- Apply for additional funding streams (if eligible)
- Adapt learning approaches to support each child
Tax-Free Childcare
We accept payments via the government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, which can help families save up to:
- £2,000 per year per child
